What is Urethane Floor Finish?
Urethane floor finish is an established technology derived from a water-based aliphatic urethane that is transforming resilient and non-resilient floor care. Urethane floor finish does not yellow with age or exposure to UV light. It is highly chemical resistant and abrasion resistant; considered to last on average 10 times longer than traditional acrylic floor finishes. It is flexible, which means it will not chalk or crack after a full cure. This floor finish is extremely durable and non-porous, which allows spills to be easily wiped up.
Are there costs benefits to using urethane?
Costs are significantly reduced due to less labor associated with maintaining your floors. No burnishing or spray buffing is required to maintain the desired gloss. Floor surfaces do not need to be stripped. Only one coat of finish is required to equal or exceed the appearance of six coats of conventional acrylic wax.
